The Department of Computer Technology, AIDS, and IOT, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering are proud to announce the second winning Team of SIH 2025, of cash prize worth ₹1,50,000.
The Smart India Hackathon 2025 (Hardware Edition) was organized by AICTE in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, held on 8th to 12th December 2025 across India. Our team participated under the Problem Statement titled “Structural stability assessment tool for collapsed structures” provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs competing at the Gitam University, Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, the nodal center. The team Genius Grid members are Partho Probodh Ghoshal (Team Leader) – CT, Bhushan Vinod More – CT, Darshan Bagade – CT, Kritish Bokde – AIDS, Debasrita Chattopadhyay – AIDS

The Department of Computer Technology and Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering proudly congratulate Team Kwarcs, winners of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, securing a cash prize of ₹1,50,000.
Organized by AICTE in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, SIH 2025 was held across India on 8th and 9th December 2025. Team Kwarcs competed at the Kolhapur Institute of Technology, the designated nodal center, under the problem statement “Hedging Platform for Oilseed Price Risk Management” presented by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
The winning team comprised Vedant Raut (Team Leader, 5th Sem AIDS), Ojas Satdeve (5th Sem IT), Atharva Chaudhari (3rd Sem ETC), Ayush Sahu (5th Sem AIDS), Tejasvi Jadhao (5th Sem IT), and Omkar Jadhav (5th Sem CSE IoT), under the expert mentorship of Prof. Roshan Bhanuse (CTech Dept.) and Prof. Nikhil Sawarkar (IT Dept.).
The institution acknowledges the guidance and support of Dr. Lalit Damahe and Dr. K. K. Bhoyar in fostering a strong culture of innovation and problem-solving. Congratulations to the entire team for this remarkable achievement!
