On 31st January 2025, Young India Unchained (YIU) organized an Online Women’s Safety Awareness Quiz to promote knowledge of legal rights, emergency helplines, and self-defense strategies. The quiz featured multiple-choice questions on laws like the POSH Act, domestic violence provisions, and cyber safety, along with information on helpline numbers such as 1091 and 112. Participants showed enthusiastic engagement, enhancing their awareness of women’s safety protocols. The initiative effectively encouraged proactive learning and vigilance. YIU thanked all participants and expressed its commitment to continuing such impactful programs.

A club meeting was held by YIU on 7th March 2025 at the Student Hub. The Club President briefed members on ongoing updates and shared plans for upcoming events. Members were invited to share any issues they were facing, along with suggestions for improvements. The session encouraged open communication and focused on moving the club forward through teamwork and engagement. It ended with mutual enthusiasm for the club’s future initiatives.

The YIU Club conducted an online group discussion on the topic “Ardhanarishvara: A Divine Representation of Gender Equality.” Participants explored the symbolic meaning of Ardhanarishvara and how it reflects balance and inclusivity between masculine and feminine energies. The discussion linked spiritual ideology to modern gender dynamics and equality. Students expressed thoughtful views, drawing connections between mythology and societal values. The session was intellectually enriching and culturally insightful.

The YIU Club hosted an online speech competition titled “EmpowerHer: Voices of Change” on 30th March 2025. Participants spoke on topics like child labour, connections between historical and modern women, and female role models. The event aimed to raise awareness on women’s empowerment and inspire action. Speeches were impactful and reflected personal insight and social consciousness. All participants received certificates, and the event promoted confidence and advocacy.
